Time2drive learner driver mentor program

LEARNER DRIVER ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible to participate in the Time2Drive, Learner Drivers must: 

  • Have no access to supervisory driver or vehicle.
  • Already have completed a minimum of 3 professional driving lessons in the past 5 months.
  • Be unable to pay for professional lessons due to financial hardship or on income support.
  • Commit to attending 2 - 3 Mentoring sessions a week with our Volunteer Mentors. 
  • Attend all Volunteer mentor sessions at our Cairns city office. 
  • Hold a current QLD Learners Licence.

Please note: Due to demand, we are currently unable to assist school students with their supervisory hours. We will notify any changes on this website.

Learner Driver - Registration of interest

And meet a minimum of one or more of the following requirements: Aged between 16-25Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders or from a Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Community in Cairns, including refugees and those on humanitarian visas On income support or unable to pay for professional lessons Live in Cairns or the surrounding suburbs Youth parents without access to transport or mentoring support
