Helping our community means better access to employment, education, and health and gives people the freedom for a better life.
Many in our community have no access to suitable, road-safe vehicles nor a family member to support them. Volunteering provides the added benefit of making friends and connecting with the district. It's a way to keep in touch with our local area, and your contribution - to help change lives - is greatly appreciated.
As a Time2Drive Learner Driver Mentor Volunteer, you will receive professional training and ongoing support, plus be part of an organisation that aims to help people and change lives.
VOLUNTEER ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible, you will need to:
-
hold a current and Australian Open Drivers licence for a minimum of one year
- be willing to attend the Volunteer Mentor Driver training
- hold or willing to gain a working with children Blue card (Time2Drive will assist with this)
